Weekly Wrap-up

This – a blatant act of aggression against the U.S. – should have been a bigger story this week...

...especially in light of what The Washington Times calls “Obama’s State of Islamic Denial.”

The President, it seems, doesn’t have much to say about anything taking place in the world right now – whether it’s the situation in Libya...

... or the staggering rise in gas prices over the past week.

The one decisive answer from Obama this week it seems is that no, U.S. border agents in Mexico will NOT be allowed to protect themselves. This after a meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon – because shouldn’t Mexico have the final word on how America protects her citizens?

Fear not though: According to FOX News, the Obama Administration and Mexico “will look at other ways to protect American officials in the wake of a fatal shooting last month.” U.S. agents can just tell that to the thugs who want to kill them.

Here at home... this may not be quite as exciting as Wisconsin, but now New Yorkers have our own protests to talk about.

I want to protest Sheldon Silver’s flip-flopping on taxes...

Andrew Cuomo is thinking a bit more long-term in the name of budget restraint...

...and in Albany, the squabbling is already starting.

Do you think Andrew Cuomo’s budget will be passed on time, by April 1, and within the guidelines he’s setting out for fiscal restraint and responsibility? Give your opinion today in our new Weekly Poll.

And have a great weekend!
