Here's my latest column. This one is a post-election wrap-up...

Election Day 2008 in New York State was also historic...the State Senate is now controlled by a Democratic majority. Change is coming to New York as well as Washington – and New York taxpayers must brace ourselves if the spending habits and legislative agenda of Speaker Sheldon Silver are any indication of what the Democrat majority will do, or what Governor David Paterson is committed to signing into law.

Big News: Rep. Mike Pence has been chosen to serve as Republican Conference Chairman in the 111th Congress. Rep. Pence is a true conservative, and a good friend of CPNYS. He'll be able to bring some clarity and principle to the GOP message. I say it's about time.

Obama's Abortion Agenda

The ice storm in the capital region of New York is preventing us from keeping you updated - we're still unable to post to our website! In the meantime, here's a must-read article from the NY Post on Obama's abortion extremism...

Here's the quote to remember: "With one stroke of the president's pen, it would nullify every one of the 330 or so federal, state and local abortion laws on the books, most of them supported by a majority of Americans..." Scary.
