Obama has no clue on how to lower gasoline costs, in fact, no one -- despite what he says -- is certain that he wants to.

But he does want to use our money for "energy efficient" alternatives to gas guzzling cars.

In fact, he likes to kick every can down the road as explained in today's Michael Barone's column.

Ambassador John Bolton reminds us that North Korea is still a very real problem.

Conrad Black asks "Will American Abdicate Its Status as a Great Power"?

Again, it is not about contraception, it is about religious liberty.

Obamacare requires health insurance companies to produce a summary of benefits and coverage (SBC) based on a government-imposed template and glossary....take a look here at what will be required.

Great column by William McGurn, especially good for those who are discouraged by the GOP primaries. The headline reads: Reagan Was a Sure Loser Too.

About the ads CSEA and PEF are running on Tier VI....you really have to read this by E. J. McMahon to learn the truth.

A warning of what to expect if the current administration is given another four years.

Say good-bye to Congressman Kucinich.

The Heritage Foundation was not impressed with Obama's press conference yesterday.

Last time I looked at a map, San Antonio, Texas was in the United States, why then did these students apologize? Both schools are in the USA, are the school officials looking for trouble or is there more to the story?

Wow, an $11M grant helps 2 people, yes you read that right, 2 people. While it occurred in Detroit, you can be certain Detroit is not the only place such wasteful spending occurs. When government is big, this is what happens.

Another aspect of big government is in the thinking of HHS Secretary Sebelius. What will be her solution, buying everyone a new house near the grocery store or mandating grocery stores must be closer than a mile to every home?

Good article on higher education here.

The Mercatus Center makes the case for corporate tax reform.

Watch this case, will end up in the US Supreme Court.

A short clip from NY1 featuring Chairman Long.

Bonus Thomas Sowell column.

What did President Obama tell us today? Is he looking to get us involved in Syria? Did he tell us about his bundlers cashing in? Did he explain how China is getting a foothold in US Energy? Did he explain how that the housing market is flooded with foreclosures? Says he will help Veterans with housing (while cutting their medical??), claimed Iran is isolated and will not get a nuclear weapon -- it could fall in the hands of terrorists --- did I hear that right? Did he say "fall into the hands of terrorists" -- the actions, statements and beliefs of Mahmound Ahmadinejad, certainly leads most to believe that he is a terrorist. Who's back do you have Mr. President?

More on China's rising military from the Heritage Foundation.

Rich Lowry writes in NRO that there is no substitute for victory.

The WSJ believes you should know the facts on Cardinal Dolan's Liberty Letter.

Bill Hammond on Tier VI. The NY Post Editorial opines again on NY's pension costs.
E. J. McMahon wants CSEA to explain their numbers. Silver is strongly signaling he does not support the idea of Tier IV by saying it has to be negotiated with the unions. No surprise since Silver is "owned" by union leadership.

A look at the proposed Congressional Districts compared to the old lines. These are NOT final lines, but thought you might like to see the Magistrates proposal. This from YNN news: "This plan will now be submitted to a three person panel for review. It’s important to note that if state lawmakers reach an agreement on the congressional lines, it will supersede any of the efforts by the special master. But, if Governor Cuomo vetoes the legislature’s plan, then it’s likely that the maps drawn by the courts will be implemented."

Kudos to the WSJ for exposing the elites war on Ray Kelly.

What is China doing with all the money we are providing to them? The answer will make you very uneasy, then remember how much we own them, with no end in sight. They continue to build, while we continue to cut.

Considering the cuts we are making in our own defense budgets, will we be able to defend our friends, let alone ourselves?

Michael Goodwin writes about Israel's worst frenemy.

The Washington Examiner isn't enamored with Obama's corporate tax reform plan.

Sen. Reid and Congresswoman Pelosi were not expecting this from Obama.

Mr. President: stop bailing out those who helped ruin our economy!

Grace-Marie Turner on Obamacare.

State comptroller, Thomas DiNapoli, won't be happy with this report.

The NY Times won't be happy with this editorial from the NY Sun: An ovation for the NYPD.

Governor Cuomo, it's time to take tort reform on as a major issue that harms New York State. If New York enacts meaningful tort reform, ideas like this (taxpayer funding) would not be needed, as NY would be a business friendly state and companies would be willing to take on the expense of bringing in broadband saving taxpayers money and creating jobs.

Cardinal Dolan speaks out, loud and clear for all to understand. This is not a Catholic issue, it is more than contraception, it is the very core of what America believes in.

Spring is almost here, and so are they.

Redistricting....will we know the lines before the March 20 day to circulate? In less than 15 days, we need to know where the lines are for the Congressional Districts, how many signatures will be required and if the numbers will be available. Then we can do it all over again for the state districts. Redistricting is such fun!

Weekly Wrap-Up

More this morning on the sudden, tragic death of Andrew Breitbart.

“We have lost our Samuel Adams,” says the Washington Examiner. The New York Post, the Weekly Standard, Byron York and John Podhoretz are among the many remembering this young man who was a friend to many conservatives, and ally to all of us.

Meanwhile Senate Democrats make a strong stand AGAINST religious freedom and respect for personal values.

David Limbaugh details how the Obama Administration threatens religious liberty.

And of course Obama's liberal allies on America's college campuses are joining this crusade against religious freedom - but fortunately they are not going unchallenged.

Chuck Schumer takes a strong stand FOR increased dependence on Saudi Arabia and foreign oil – while opposing efforts to take care of our own oil needs (which would also create quite a few jobs).

Which do you think is the best solution to America’s energy crisis – producing more of our oil supply here at home, or begging to Saudi Arabia to make more oil for us?

Give your opinion in our new Weekly Poll.

And have a great weekend!

Rest in Peace, Andrew Breitbart, a conservative voice that will be sorely missed, who not only taught us by exposing the left's agenda, he also lived his life with the courage of his convictions. The Left always calls for tolerance, but you can not find much tolerance as many on the far left rant about Andrew's untimely death.

Timothy P. Carney writes "Blame 'moderates' not 'wingers' for dysfunction".

The US Senate needs a new majority leader.

The Washington Examiner Editorial opines on the auto bailout.

The WSJ notes the cost of $10 billion stimulus is easier to tally than new jobs.

Fred Barnes writes about Congressman Paul Ryan's Medicare Revolution.

CBS MoneyWatch says inflation is not as low as you think it is.

About that apology, Mr. President, two more of our finest young men killed.

NY Post Editorial on Gov. gumby's gimmicks. And more from E. J. McMahon on Gov's backtracking on pension reform. And Harry Wilson makes his concerns known.

The latest on NY's redistricting, nothing is certain yet.

Hey, Mr. NYC Comptroller, enough already.

If the writers of this report are medical "ethicists" (a person who writes on moral principles) we are in far deeper trouble then we imagined.

Pete DuPont hits a home run in his latest column.

Can you believe it, Fannie wants more of your money again!

Looks like the pressure to answer questions re "fast and furious" may be getting to AG Eric Holder.
Does anyone believe that AG Holder will not open a full scale investigation into the NYPD, I bet he is chomping at the bit to review and pursue complaints.

Don't you feel safer now knowing that our Special Operation Forces have to do more with less?
Neither do I.

Don't expect lower gasoline prices soon. More on gasoline prices in Red State.

David S. Addington opines on Obamacare and Religious Freedom.

Profiles of courage? Seriously, this type of running away is becoming all to common. I wonder if the Assembly Democrats in NYS will run away when it comes to passing the DNA expansion bill pending that has the support of almost all law enforcement agencies and the Conservative Party.

Another reason we need pension reform. Just think of what their pensions will be.

We wholeheartedly agree with this NY Post Editorial: Time's really up, John. More on Liu's problems here.

It's not as if any of the 4 Republican Senators did not know our position on the bill, everyone knew our position. I do believe they will all face the voters without conservative endorsement. Sen. Grisanti has already lost the line, Sen. McDonald is in serious trouble with Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin seriously considering a run, and we are confident that Sen. Alesi and Senator Saland will not appear on the Conservative Party line.

Wednesday's with Walter E. Williams.
