One week from today, will you be joining us at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers? Click here for more information.
The numbers back us according to the latest polls.
The morality of conservatism.
Dysfunctional Washington.
First New York State wants to raise the minimum wage, now the House Democrats want to put more people out of work.
Someone tell Ricky Martin he is being used, President Obama did what he did because he wants their money, not because he is committed to their cause albeit he does believe in it....
President Obama likes to raise money (what he really craves is being the center of attention).
More on Fast and Furious from Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Greece, take a look at Wisconsin, call Gov. Walker for a few ideas, maybe then your unemployment rate will drop. Guess your tax rate really helped, probably why people are gone.
E. J. McMahon on Wisconsin's Win. And John Podhoretz's view.
Science is breathtaking when it comes to ways it has discovered how to cure disease and make our lives better, however, this article should make us all concerned.
Thursday with Thomas Sowell, another must read.

The Heritage Foundation calls Governor Walker's win an "historic win for reform" and it certainly is. But even more, it is a huge win for all who believe that they can make a difference, that grassroots efforts can and must win, if America will continue to be the beacon of freedom in the world. America was built by grassroots, not by government programs designed to take from one to give to whom it chooses. Wisconsin has returned to what has made America the greatest nation and has given hope to the other 49 states that America will stand strong on its founding principles. Wisconsin's are lucky to have Governor Walker and so is the rest of our beloved country. Yesterday's big win gives us HOPE that CHANGE is coming.
California, yes you read California, cut pension cost in San Diego and San Jose. Governor Brown, you better be listening to the people because you certainly do not what the rest of California to become like Stockton.
6,603 American casualties, 68 years ago today, as our Armed Forces stormed the beaches of Normandy. We are forever grateful and will never forget your courage and sacrifices made and will keep you all in our prayers. President Obama apparently thinks fundraising is more important.
It is bad enough Bill Press said this about our National Anthem, the extra insult is to say it on D-Day..
President Obama firm on not extending tax cuts. (I guess he slept thought the Wisconsin election or he was just busy counting the money raised in New York City.)
Another very black eye for the current administration! Will they stop at nothing to keep what they have?
Obama's debt boom
The NY Post editorial weighs in on photo ID's for voters.
Economist Steve Forbes endorses Wendy Long.

The electronic age is wonderful, but every once in a while, electronics have a mind of their own. Today seems to be one of those days.
Don't forget our 50th Anniversary Dinner....just 8 days from today.....call 718-921-2158 or 518-356-7882 t get the details or go on line for the invitation: www.cpnys.org
Fifty-one percent see federal government as threat to their rights, with all of the newsworthy items on drones, Obamacare and religious freedoms, I thought the number would be higher.
The Torch writes about the town of Rampo and the fiscal crisis it is in.
The Morning Bell writes about Changing America's Course.
Thanks Peter Brooks, we couldn't have said it better.
Senate candidate, Wendy Long, best on constitutional issues and economic issues.
Who will win Wisconsin?
It's good to know some things are made in America with pride.
Tuesday's with Thomas Sowell.

Ten days to our big 50th Anniversary Dinner and we are all busy making the final preparations. It's not too late for you to join us at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in New York City.
We wholeheartedly agree with US Senate candidate, Wendy Long's statement, and urge you to remind your republican friends to vote for Wendy Long in June 26 Republican primary. In case you didn't see this, two chairman, one Republican, one Conservative writing on why Wendy Long should be elected.
We completely disagree with Governor Cuomo's call for the decriminalization of marijuana in public view and will have more to say on this later today.
The Heritage Foundation has some good recommendations on how the Administration can lower gas prices. Can we in NY include lowering the tax on gasoline since we are one of the three highest taxed?
You need a photo ID to enter the MA democratic convention but the democratic machine is doing all it can to prevent voters from showing an ID. Confused? So are we. Thomas Sowell has a few thoughts on voter ID,
President Obama avoids Wisconsin. I wonder if the residents of Wisconsin think there could have been a better use of the estimated $64 million spent on this race, granted most of it not taxpayer money, but a huge amount of time and effort also that could have been put to better use.
A must read by Michael Goodwin.

Weekly Wrap-Up
Here is an “In Case You Missed
It” alert from the Wendy Long campaign – she appeared on last Friday’s “Capital
Tonight” program, and as usual did an outstanding job in laying out the issues
and explaining why she is the right choice for New York.
Wendy talks about jobs, taxes,
the economy, health care and a number of other issues. Which of Wendy’s
sensible stands on the issues do support the most? Vote this week in our “supersized”
Weekly Poll.Make sure you sign up to get email updates from Wendy and to volunteer for her campaign before the June 26 primary. Here is the link for that - and here you can get an absentee ballot if you can’t make it to the polls on June 26.
This is surprising (and disappointing): Support from the New York Post for the Bloomberg Nanny State.
Seems like a random sampling of
New Yorkers shows better sense than people like Bloomberg who think they know
what’s best for everyone.
And when Big Government is
getting too big for even Sheldon Silver, it’s clear that things have gone too
far.So what have we seen from the Obama Administration this week?
And of course plenty of fundraising (with an “official” event worked in – which means taxpayers will probably be picking up the tab for this trip).
Rep. Chris Smith, our neighbor from New Jersey, highlights the real “war on women” – the sex-selective abortions that President Obama and many Democrats in Congress seem to think are perfectly okay.
A great conservative from New York, Ann Marie Buerkle, is also leading the fight against this repulsive example of the abortion regime.
Have a great weekend.

Wendy Long appeared on Fred Dicker's radio program this morning and Mr. Dicker describes Ms. Long as the "most articulate" of the three candidates running for the republican line that he has interviewed....and he has interviewed all three. Click on the link above to hear the interview for yourself and you will understand why Mr. Dicker said what he did. It begins at approximately the 29 minute mark....if you don't have time to listen to the whole program....just click on the highlighted track bar until you come to the 29 minute mark.
Michael J. Gaynor has another excellent posting on Ms. Long here. Click here to become involved in Wendy Long's campaign and help New York elect a US Senator that reflects your values. Don't forget the Republican primary is June 26.....the Conservative Party endorsed and authorized Ms. Long to run on the Conservative Line in March.
Benefits have always been the real issue in the effort to redefine marriage and it is not going away. I believe it will eventually be decided by the US Supreme Court and the upcoming November elections, while based on the economy, the future of our Country for years to come will be defined by decisions made by the US Supreme Court. The decision ultimately is yours at to whom will be making recommendations for Justice of the United States Supreme Court for the next four years.
Sex selection abortion ban has to be debated? What is there to debate? We are talking about a viable child, a child that could survive being born. So I ask again, what is there to debate?
Missing NY boy found safe and sound.
Sometimes Mayor Bloomberg is right, but certainly not when he try to impose his nanny state ideas.

Jack and Suzy Welch on private equity.
New CBO report: Obama stimulus may have cost $4.1 million per job.
More on Obama's spending here.
E. J. McMahon explains why the NYS Pension Fund is not as sound as Comptroller DiNapoli wants you to believe.

The US Senate primary is in less than four weeks and Wendy Long is confident that today's poll indicates her message resonates with New Yorkers. Do you part to help elect a strong woman who knows what New Yorkers need by forwarding her statements to your family and friends. The June primary is Tuesday, June 26...ask "Siri" to remind you to vote on June 26th.
Today's Morning Bell by the Heritage Foundation links to White House press secretary, Jay Carney, rambling response to a reporter's question asking to explain how President Obama can defend the failed Solyndra solar boondoggle, yet attack private sector investments that sometimes fail but oftentimes succeed. Great question, good to watch Carney squirm and excellent analysis by Heritage.
More on President Obama's public equity record here.
Rich Lowry writes about Spending, What Spending.
George Marlin asks the question "Will PA Catholics Make the Difference?"
And thanks to Heritage for letting us know that the honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America was awarded our Nation's Medal of Freedom. Did you see coverage of this in the main stream media? They covered the awful "mistake" made by President Obama but most failed to inform us that a socialist was honored.
Thanks to Fox News for reviewing almost four years of hope and change.
Can our friends across the pond teach us something?
Be careful of what you blog! Big Brother (or should we say Big Sister) is watching.
The NY Post editorial is right to question the ethics in Albany again.
