We commend Congressman Bart Stupak for getting his amendment to prohibit federal funds for abortions passed, however, it is far too soon to celebrate. If the Senate passes a bill to reform health care, we have no guarantees that the conference committee will honor its passage. How did your Representative vote? Newly minted Congressman Bill Owens voted against it, what a surprise!

Is the health care reform bill truly about health care or government dependency?

How far is the Obama Administration willing to push the envelope? And deny what really happened at Fort Hood? Who will ask the question, how many returning service men and women did he harm in his counseling sessions? Why is the press determined to make him a victim? Because Dr. Phil believes he is? Instead of listening to Dr. Phil they should be listening to Rich Lowry and Ralph Peters!

Can Conservatives Win?

NYer's will ultimately lose if legislators fail to make necessary changes.

Thomas Sowell has the quote of the day "If politicians stopped meddling with things they don't understand, there would be a more drastic reduction in the size of government than anyone in either party advocates." Read the rest of his article here.
