Peter Regan's heartfelt assessment of AG Eric Holden's and the Administration's decision to hold the KSM trials in civil court, is a must read. Planning has begun for a December 5 rally in New York City at Battery Park (not yet confirmed) by interested parties, The Bravest, YAF and the families of the terrorist attacks, to oppose the trials being held in NY's civil courts. As more details are available, rest assured, we will let you know. The WSJ also opines on the outrageous decision to hold a civil trial and more here.

Governor Paterson certainly never should have signed the budget passed by the legislators, and for this he deserves criticism and should shoulder the responsibility of his poor judgement. It appears that he is trying to rectify the situation and since the Legislators are not making the necessary cuts (they are considering more taxes) they should give him the ability to cut across the board. Jacob Gershman gives some insight as to why the Legislators may be reluctant in cutting back.

Under the not surprising category: Obama shatters spending record for first year president. The poll numbers are reflecting the people's displeasure of his spending.

While spending time with your families this Thanksgiving, please take a moment to thank our Veterans for all the have done to keep our families safe. Many organizations want to help our veterans but they also need our help.

Happy Thanksgiving.
