Immigration has taken center stage this week now that Arizona is taking steps to protect itself from out-of-control illegal immigration.
This weekend we’ll be seeing protests from those who oppose Arizona’s enforcement efforts.
But will we be seeing amnesty for illegal aliens passed by the U.S. Congress?
Maybe, if Chuck Schumer gets his way...
But maybe not, according to President Obama...
Want to know what the Arizona immigration bill actually does? The Washington Times demolishes some myths about the new law...
Should other states adopt similiar legislation to step up enforcement of U.S. immigration laws? Give your opinion in our Weekly Poll.
Isn’t it amazing to read about a state where elected officials actually accomplish something? Not the case here in New York...
Here’s another myth being questioned: The idea that GM has paid back it’s debt to America’s taxpayers...
Sen. Gillibrand isn’t 100% opposed to Wall Street fat cats – not when they’re giving her money...
Have a great weekend!

Well the late Senator cannot be happy about this.
Why doesn't he just stay home?
Too smart to lose or just a Smart Aleck-in-Chief? Thanks, Mr. President, we just love to pay more in taxes. What was that about the IRS and Obamacare?
Do you think Oprah agrees?
Any indication this is the ideal for Justice he will be seeking for the Supreme Court?
From Human Events: SEC scandal shows the danger of big government.
A candidate for Attorney General? You saw him at CPPAC!

It is a good thing that the Heritage Foundation lets the truth be known. And the Washington Times gets kudos as well as those strong enough to vote no again. However, Harry (I'll do anything to keep my job) Reid thinks they are anti-America. Breaking news on Fox says debate on the Financial Overhaul Bill may begin soon....
The Washington Times also lets us know that "everything" is on the table with the debt panel.
Brentwood teachers do the right thing for themselves and the taxpayers.
Perhaps these groups could learn from them. (What can I say besides the fact that I am an eternal optimist!) E. J. McMahon reminds the Governor where more cuts can be made.
Sore loser.
Why was the vote 5-4? And what will the vote be on this case? Interesting questions by Justice Scalia.
George Will writes about "A Law Arizona Can Live With", well worth the read.

More from the Heritage Foundation on Obama's fiscal responsibility farce.
Banks are worried, then there are carve-outs for cronies while the US Treasury makes money. New York's senior Senator, Chuck Schumer, is too busy raising money for Senator Harry Reid, to care about how all of this will effect New York and its citizens.
Is America defending our First Amendment or slowly allowing it to be changed? Read about the "South Park" controversy here, here and here.
The Dept. of Education ignores budget problems.
Rasmussen report: 60% believe the health care bill will increase deficit. As Europeans want change, our President is trying to make us like them.
It's Tuesday, time for some Thomas Sowell.
Kyle Smith's "When Did Troops Stop Being Hero's", a must read.

More on the health care costs rising and the fact that more is coming out now about rising costs leads us to the obvious question: Why should we trust anything they (the one party in control of Washington, Albany and New York City) say?
We can trust the Heritage Foundation to give us the true facts.
Michael Barone writes about the VAT tax and explains that taxpayers may prefer spending cuts.
Latest polls show Democrats have lost the advantage they've held for years as the party the public trusts to steer the economy. More signs that the democrats are getting nervous about the November elections.
The NY Post Editorial has some good advice for Andrew Cuomo.
Liz Benjamin writes about Jay Townsend's interview with Chairman Long and the leadership of the Conservative Party last week.

Weekly Wrap-Up
Shocking news this week: ObamaCare will increase costs. And the Obama Administration says this will improve the health care system!
Can we trust President Obama to “fix” our entire financial system, or “improve” the world’s climate? Can we trust him to “reform” America’s immigration laws?
Let’s not forget who will be paying for all this spending...
The Conservative Party’s efforts to expose the real impact of the Obama “financial reforms” – moving the world’s financial capital from New York to Chicago – received a good bit of coverage, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post and MyFoxNY.
Unlike President Obama, the Conservative Party candidate for State Comptroller, Harry Wilson, has actual experience in the financial world and the private sector.
The “voice” of Geico auto insurance – not the lizard, but the guy you hear at the end of the ads – has been fired after calling Tea Partiers “mentally retarded” and wondering how the movement will react “when one of your members does actually kill somebody?”
This is what Rush Limbaugh calls “the violence card” in today’s Wall Street Journal, noting that "The latest liberal meme is to equate skepticism of the Obama administration with a tendency toward violence."
On this day after Earth Day, let’s not forget one of the primary sources of “homegrown” terrorism in the U.S. – eco-terrorism. And they’re all staunch conservatives, I’m sure.
Have a great weekend!

Please help us stop Obamacare by joining Revere America and sign the on-line petition to stop Obamacare. Send the link to your family and friends and ask them to do the same. We need to do everything we can, since we do not have our Attorney General or federal Senators looking out for our good.
More bad news from the President and what Pete DuPont thinks.
The UK has financial problems and needs to perform a rebalancing act. How long before we have to do the same?
The WSJ opines on President Obama's Rhetoric. Henninger has reason to hope by citing a recent Pew Research Center Report just out.
Obama does not plan on retuning campaign contributions.
Michael Barone on Gangster Government.
The NY Post writes warns of problems if Obama's Wall Street reform is enacted. Michael Goodwin from yesterday. (Hope you read our press release on the same sujbect.)
