The Democratic controlled Senate, Assembly Speaker Silver and Governor Paterson cannot be pleased with the NYS Inspector General Report on the fiasco that selected AEG to run the VLT's at Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens. The IG has forwarded its report to prosecutors and ethics panels, but the best way for New York's citizens to effect changing how things are accomplished in Albany is to vote on November 2. Many officials are named in the report in addition to Senator Joseph Addabbo and Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer (both represent the area in Queens where Aqueduct is located) and before you vote you should, at the very least, read the Press Release by the IG office, if not the whole report. More on the scathing report here and here.

Why is it that the liberal left always preach tolerance, yet never practice it?

Absolutely necessary to do, but we all know the extension of the Bush tax cuts should be number 1 priority.

Fannie and Freddie may double in size. More on Fannie and Freddie from the WSJ. And Thomas Sowell on Is Barney Frank

Things you need to know courtesy of Jay Townsend, important to view before you vote.
