Weekly Wrap-Up

This week, the already absurd idea that Andrew Cuomo is an outsider and reformer was dealt another blow. Cuomo is now a proud ally of the ultra-liberal Working Families Party (details here and here). It’s no secret that the WFP’s Big Labor agenda is the root of the many problems facing New York right now.

There should be little doubt that a vote for Cuomo on the WFP line (which he shares with his friend Charlie Rangel) or on the Democrat line (learn more about their latest scandal here) is a vote for corruption and politics as usual.

What do you think about this new Cuomo/WFP marriage? Vote today in our weekly poll.

I wonder what Cuomo-the-Reformer would think about his fellow Democrats’ fundraising antics?

More on the Ground Zero mosque this week: Why in the world should we trust Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf with a new building when he can’t even take care of the ones he already owns?

Forget waterboarding: If we want to pressure terrorists to talk, we should tell them to speak up or spend the night in a Rauf property.

Have you seen the national Democratic Party’s new logo? The Washington Times notes its similarity to the “down” button on an elevator. Others have said the new symbol very appropriately resembles a blue target.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Seems clear to me that the first fight is to beat Cuomo & Gilibrand. That Cons split with Repubs is a disaster.
