President Obama in his role of Commander-in-Chief is letting
our brave Armed Forces down by allowing this
to happen. The ethical and moral responsibility
of the Commander-in-Chief is to protect our Armed Forces and to make certain
they have all of the necessary equipment for them to protect themselves. How many dedicated young men and women making
tremendous personal sacrifices will be harmed before President Obama responds
to the urgent plea approved by the Joint Chiefs of Staff in January? While this incident is publicized, we
Americans, have to ask how many other problems are out there that we are not
aware of?
Defense Secretary Leon
Panetta says Libya attack was pre-planned by terrorists, yet President
Obama still cannot admit that it was a terrorist attack; he can hardly say the
word terrorist, other than when he claims he made us safer by ordering Osama bin
Laden’s death. Osama is dead (thanks to
the Navy Seals’ bravery), but al- Qaida
survives as evidenced by the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith,
Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods on September 11, 2012. The US
Senate Democrats and the President may list OBL’s death as a major
accomplishment in ending al-Qaida’s strength, but the families of those who are
still fighting al-Qaida may differ with that assessment.
Obama’s foreign
policy is in shambles and the economy
continues to stumble, unable to create enough jobs for people to get back
to work. Even with those who have jobs, their
actual paycheck has declined, incomes have fallen
an average of $3,040 during the recovery.
Unfortunately, the purchasing power will fall even more when inflation
begins and there is no doubt that inflation is just around the corner and the possibility
of another
recession is looming.
Larry
Kudlow has some good advice for Mitt Romney and if followed with give
Americans a reason to believe all is not gloom and doom.
Everything changes in moments in today’s lightning speed
world, and some people are already
voting for President. With the way things change so rapidly and the
fact that we are more aware of what happens so quickly, do you think it is a
good idea to vote early. Let us know in
our weekly poll.
The world is in turmoil and things are not much different in
Albany as the Vito
Lopez scandal is still in the news.
Hydrofrackng will take another hit in the latest
Matt Damon movie, Promised Land,
which is financed in part by the oil-rich United Arab Emirates.
The one very bright note this week was US Senate candidate
Wendy Long addressing a crowded room last night at our 2012 Fall
Reception. We will have the video early
next week, meanwhile you can watch
a video from American Votes taped on September 20.
