Assemblyman Ortiz is at it again. Why do some, if not most, elected officials believe they can use tax dollars to impose what they believe is best for society? Government does not need to make every decision for everyone, in fact we were a much better country when government kept out of our everyday lives. Instead of more mandates, we need mandate relief to control spending. We also need to know that Gov. Cuomo and the Legislature will not raise taxes.
