Kudos to Conservative Republican candidate for Attorney General, Dan Donovan, for rejecting the tainted Independence Party line!! It is not a good sign for the future when the current AG and Gubernatorial candidate, Andy Cuomo, who is trying to run on reforming the dysfunction in NYS is running on the very same line.... so how is he going to stop corruption? Hey Andy, NYS voters are too smart to fall for deception any more!

Sen. Kerry votes to increase taxes and looks for loopholes to avoid paying his share.

Will Congressman Rangle's donations in 2009 help him Thursday when the Ethics Committee formally charge him?

Wow, that is a lot of OUR money for bottle water!

The Heritage Foundation on the Obama Administration's failures.

Connecticut has every right to lure our businesses...however the Members of our Legislature do not have to force them to go! Contact your Senator and Assembly Member and tell the enough...stop pushing businesses out of New York State. Do it NOW, they will be back this week.

Thank you, Jesse Hernandez!!

More kudos to Congressman Jason Chaffetz of Utah!

Weekly Wrap-Up

Lots of ups and downs this week...

Confidence in our esteemed leaders in Congress continues to plummet. How low can it go?

And it’s hard to have much confidence in the people who run Albany...

The Working Families Party is trying to build up its image by suddenly being shocked – shocked! – to find that corruption is going on in Albany...

Constituents of Congressman Rangel are losing confidence in him...

Mayor Bloomberg is correct on this issue and we encourage you to join his battle with the Members of the Legislature...You can let us know what you think in this week’s poll question.

Our ability to trust the “mainstream” media continues to decline...

And the liberals’ latest “Recovery Summer” spending spree continues to hold down any actual economic recovery...

Which leads us to what’s on the rise this week – like jobless claims, unfortunately...

And taxes? They’re on the way up... big time.

And that’s driving up divisions among the Democrats in Washington...

And the pro-abortion lobby in Kenya is on the rise – thanks to U.S. taxpayers?

Have a great weekend!

The Heritage Foundation on yesterdays visit in the White House between Obama and Cameron and what the press focused on.

Really, the liberal journal group "JournoList" tried to control media coverage of Obama. And now they want government controls on Fox News? Are we living in Orwell's 1984?

Son of CRA, the scandal lives on.

Mortgage bailout program is a bust.

Dealergate.

The White House apologizes to Shirley Sherrod. (No link available yet)

Walter E. Wlliams writes on Making Americans Sick. Hidden in Health Care Bill...a secret tax on gold coins. Would someone explain the correlation?
No wonder Obama's numbers are falling.

Hoffman ahead in poll.

If you haven't signed our gubernatorial candidate, Rick Lazio's petition yet demanding that the NYS AG investigate the Cordoba Mosque... you will after you read this. The Petition is here.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010

Our gubernatorial candidate, Rick Lazio, has a petition on his website calling on AG Cuomo to investigate the proposed Cordoba Mosque being considered in lower Manhattan at the site of the 911 atrocities. Please click on the link and sign the petition.

Weekly Standard on the proposed Mosque, more here.

The American Standard on Obamacare.

The Washington Times on Abortion returns to the campaign forefront.

If you read nothing else in this article, read the next to last paragraph, as it talks about New York State's income tax. The article suggest that states should eliminate their income taxes, nine currently have no state income tax.

NY is currently in $87 M hole. And more bad news for New Yorkers.

The NY Post Editorial should be read by the President and Members of Congress.

Thank you, Thomas Sowell.

Weekly Wrap-Up

We saw lots of different people with lots of different problems this week.

Problems are on the horizon for Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats...

...but will Republicans be able to
capitalize?

Plenty of problems for the Obama Administration – from
plunging approval ratings and overall incompetence and failure to growing talk of a primary challenge from Hillary Clinton (which could put Hillary on the ticket as Vice-President in 2012, if Obama wants to keep his friends close and his enemies closer).

But as Charles Krauthammer notes, Republicans
underestimate our 44th President at their own peril.

Big problems for taxpayers if President Obama and Nancy Pelosi
erase the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003.

And we’re looking at huge problems here in New York, with
a fiscal disaster right around the corner and no serious reforms or solutions in sight.

Should New York try to be more like
New Jersey?

And that’s just one state that elected a fiscally conservative governor and is now making progress in getting their fiscal house in order. Check out the latest from
Virginia...

But here at home,
Gov. Paterson plans to add to the problems facing New Yorkers – or at least, law-abiding New Yorkers.

What do you think about the Governor's agreeing to limit the "stop-and-frisk" system that has actually helped fight crime in New York? Give your views in our Weekly Poll.

And have a great (and hopefully problem-free) weekend!

The White House does read the polls, despite denying that fact. And what they are reading is causing them to hit the panic button, but will it backfire?

According to our esteemed Attorney General of the United States, it is okay to sue Arizona for enforcing the U. S. Constitution, but it is not okay to sue sanctuary cities for NOT enforcing the U. S. Constitution. Mr. Attorney General, how did you pass the Bar exam and who taught you Constitutional Law? Didn't you take an oath to uphold the U. S. Constitution?

More "fingers in Americans eyes".

Rep/Cons candidate for NYS Comptroller, Harry Wilson opposes the Frank/Dodd bill.

NYS Budget shortfall? Governor apparently doesn't think so any longer when it comes to the Parole Board. Today it is Workers Comp Board that has a new nominee. The NY Post opines on the Governor's bungling of cigarette tax collections.
